Beautiful day, beautiful friend, beautiful tree

Hilary Lewis took pity on her "Christmas challenged" friend, and came over and decorated the tree and mantel today. We had fun, was amazing to see Hilary in action. Note the spoons in the mantel - what a great idea, and she did not even have a plan, just used things I had. Thanks Hil!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Brad and family, Dianna and Cathy and Shelby spent some time with us for Thanksgiving, had a wonderful dinner with friends family and missionaries. Friday we did not do "black Friday" but went to Sonora Craft Fair as we traditionally do every year, rained - but had a good time, got a few hard to find gifts, Saturday we enjoyed the grand kids and stayed pretty close to home, until we realized we really needed to go get some groceries, so we returned Shelby to Merced and ran some errands. Hope you had a nice of Thanksgiving as we did.

Autumn day in Yosemite with the fam

We went to Glacier Point and to Bridalveil falls yesterday. Madison and Shelby had a good time together, Collin enjoyed the day too, got pretty chilly by late afternoon and was time to go home.

Cookies and bread and crafts

Had a nice Saturday, Dianna is here visiting, Shelby spent the day and Cathy came this evening to pick up Shelby and have some dinner with us. Dianna and Shelby played checkers and made sugar cookies and made some crafts together. I think Dianna learned as much from Dee as Shelby learned from her! Tom worked some on the chicken house, I did some house keeping and made some Artisan Bread. Also got a Burl wood clock hung up that we bought at Hornitos flea market for $1 - score!! Enjoyed our girls being together and spending time with Shel.

Fall is in the air

Had a great weekend, actually build a fire tonight and had some vege soup. Love this weather, had a few sprinkles today. Tom also surprised me with 2 banjos that were my Mom's and had them repaired - I was so happy I cried!!
